takara kabuto single speed bikeThe Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike is an cool inexpensive road bike perfect for going around campus. I’ve been cycling for years now and I didn’t want to bring my more expensive bike on campus because their have been a lot of bike thefts so I bought the Takara Kabuto as my school bike.

One thing that’s pretty cool about this bike is that you can switch between a fixed geared(fixie) or road bike. I personally prefer to ride fixie but the bike rides well with both styles. The bike in general is extremely light weight, which I love. I’m also fond of the look, I personally took off all the stickers to make it all black but either way its an awesome looking bike. Some people have said that they’ve had issues with the brakes on this bike but I personally can not say I’ve had any issues with them at all.

This is definitely a great bike for the money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive bike or just starting out getting serous with biking.
