Diamondback Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike Review

Diamondback Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid BikeBefore I start the review on the Diamondback Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike, let me first say that this isn’t my first dance with a Diamondback bike. I’ve been riding Diamondback’s for awhile now because they are so awesome. I bought the Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike because I wanted a good bike to commute and do some training on, because the other bike I had been using had been stolen. So after looking around I finally bought it on Amazon because the price was way better than that at my local bike shop.

When the bike finally came it was fairly easy to assemble, even for someone that’s not good at assembling. The Insight STI-8 Performance comes with Butted Aluminum Performance frame, integrated head tube, Shimano Nexus internally geared 8spd hub and 32h Equation R23 Doublewall rims. The saddle on this bike is also one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever had the pleasure of ridding, it’s a DB Performance Hybrid saddle with gel. The seat post itself is also really cool because it lets you adjust the angle at which the seat sits. This can be beneficial to different styles of riding.

Now I’m biased in general towards Diamondback because I think they are really well made. Having said this I believe the Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike is one of their better bikes. I really think it’s a great deal for anyone looking for a high performance Hybrid Bike and am very pleased with mine.
